ABIT Siluro GeForce 4 Ti4200

The first test up is Mad Onion's 3D Mark 2001 SE. As I'm sure you already know, 3D Mark uses a collection of DirectX operations to put stress on the system. We ran 3D Mark at default settings with the exception of running it in three resolutions, 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024.

As you can see, the ABIT barely eeked out over the BFG in the 800x600 settings, but then lost ground when the resolution was turned up. Next we'll move on to Code Creatures. Code Creatures is a benchmark based on the CodeCult gaming engine which also tests DirectX gaming performance. Not surprisingly, both cards scored the same in this test.

Now, on to the fun part....the game benchmarks. I don't know about Dean or anyone else, but I kind of like just sitting and watching these benches run through. Very cool. First up is Comanche 4.
