ASUS V8200 GeForce3 Pure The Vulpine GL mark is an excellent texture and lighting bench that brings most cards to their knees. Well, not today. We ran this bench with it's settings set for GeForce3 features turned on, with high detail. Also using OpenGL lighting, Texture Compression, and the Vertex Array Range features turned on.
Quake3 is probably a more accepted benchmark by most of us than 3D Mark or Vulpine. Let's face it, you pick up the latest toys not only for bragging rights but to run frame rates so high your nose starts to bleed. To bench Quake3 we utilized g256's Q3Bench. Running the normal and max detail settings at the listed screen resolutions. The Normal or Max setting as well as the level of FSAA is listed in each respective chart.
