Inno3D Tornado GeForce FX 5600 Ultra - 128mb

Performance

To help put things in a better perspective we are going to throw in an ASUS GeForce 4 Ti-4200.  Our comparison card has 128MB of memory on board.  The NVidia Detonator Driver v43.03 was installed with the sliders set to “Quality” mode in 16 bit color with VSynch disabled.  Our data is derived from five runs through our current benchmark suite, then throwing out the highest and lowest score of each respective benchmark to provide a good average score.

Benchmarks

• Futuremark's 3Dmark2001 SE
• Futuremark's 3Dmark2003
• Unreal Tournament 2003 using the Hard|OCP's benchmarking program.
• Comanche 4 Demo Benchmark
• Serious Sam: Second Encounter
• AquaMark v2.3
• Code Creatures

Test Bed

• ABIT KD7-G mainboard
• AMD Athlon TBred XP 2400+
• (x2) 256mb DIMM Corsair XMS-3500
• Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 30gb ATA133 HDD
• Generic 52x CD-ROM
• Thermaltake 480w PSU
• Windows XP Professional

Results

Let's start out with Futuremark..

1/19/2004 - Editor's note and edit

We have pulled this and all our 3D Mark 2003 scores as a result of our perception that Futuremark's 3D Mark 2003 results are skewed and unreliable.  As such, are not an effective measure for measuring performance.  For a further explanation click here.
