Inno3D GeForce 6800

Next up is Unreal Tournament 2004.  Using the BenchEmAll program again we see how these three cards stack up against each other in the Botmatch demo.

Here our results begin to become significant.  The GeForce 6800 barely leads the group with the eye candy turned down to make a speed setting.  Turning the eye candy up to maximum detail really thrusts the newest GeForce out in front.

As we stated in the opening of the review, the GeForce 6800 line is optimized (big time) for Doom3.  I'm curious to see how much things flip flop when Half Life 2 comes out later this year which the Radeon is optimized for.  The low quality graph indicates results obtained with Doom3's settings set to 'low' while the high quality graph is the 'high' setting not to be confused with the 'ultra high' graphics setting within Doom3.

Ka-Bam!  When I have been hearing about Doom3 favoring the latest GeForce, I had no idea things would turn out like this.  The 6800 absolutely dominated the Radeon 9800 XT and GeForce 5950 Ultra which I might add were both packing 256mb of onboard memory to the 6800's 128megs.  If you are into and all about Doom, you can stop reading this review here because the GeForce 6800 is going to be the only card for you.
