Apevia X-Sniper Mid Tower Chassis Moving along to the side of the Apevia X-Sniper, we see a large clear acrylic window. On the window, positioned over where the CPU sits on most boards, is a single 120mm fan with a straight line groove look to allow airflow through the window. There is also a small screen over the fan to help filter out dust. I think this is yet another small detail that adds a clean look to the case. Moving around to the rear of the X-Sniper, everything looks to be laid out in typical fashion. We've got the normal space for a PSU positioned at the top with another 120mm fan below. Under that are the seven PCI Expansion slots. Also noteworthy are the thumbscrews that hold both side-panels in place. These can be easily removed to slide off the sides of the Apevia X-Sniper to get to the interior of the chassis. Interior Upon removing the windowed side-panel, we start to see the bones of the X-Sniper. As you can see, there are plenty of tool less connectors here to secure all of your drives and PCI cards. Also worth mentioning are the handful of wires coming from the top front of the case. Below those, we see the five 5.25" bays -- one of these is taken by the front panel containing the LCD screen, fan speed knobs and front ports and so cannot be used by a drive. Directly below the 5.25" expansion bays are the two exterior 3.5" bays and the three 3.5" hidden bays for your HDDs. This HDD cage is positioned so that drives can be easily installed and removed, and the entire cage can be removed to quite easily add another 120mm intake fan if you choose to do so.
