Apevia X-Supra G Type Case

The front bezel shows off the five 5.25" and two 3.5" bays that sit atop a 125 x 70mm vent area with Apevia's branding positioned in the center.  Power and reset buttons are located on the forward top edge of the X-Supra with the power and reset indicators immediately in front.  The large knob you see is a built in rheostat giving the end user total fan control.

Still on the top of the case further back are the access ports.  These consist of the expected USB 2.0 x 2, Firewire, speaker and mic jack.  A user who prefers their case on the floor will love these upper ports while someone who stacks their box on top of a desk may not.  In the end, it's a preference thing that ends up a wash.

The left side panel of our chassis shows off the 120mm blue LED case fan set into an oversized window.  Tight pattern grilling acts as a nice screen to keep a good bit of debris from being pulled inside.

Out back we see a standard seven expansion slot set up along with the 120mm exhaust.  The stamped grilling is drilled so that it can accept 80, 90 or 120mm fans.  Keep in mind that a 120mm fan is included with the X-Supra.  The other holes are nice to have because I can think of a number of all in one water cooling kits that use 80 or 90mm fans.

Opening the X-Supra up we see the familiar bright gray of the SECC construction.  While the case isn't aluminum, it remains a lightweight 7.3kgs.  It does accept full size ATX, Micro and Baby ATX motherboards.  The tray is not removable but then again the X-Supra doesn't carry a $200 price tag.

Here is the inside view of the rear wall.  The included 120mm fan is a standard number and not an LED unit as the included side panel fan is.  Looking closer at the expansion slots you'll see tool free card stays.  This design is much sturdier than it looks.  I have yet to have a stay shake or pop loose but I would advise the use of traditional screws for any case that gets moved around like a LAN box.
