Syntax EZ-Clocker Small Form Factor System

Testing

Today, we'll be running quite a few benching programs to test the capabilities of the EZ-Clocker in a variety of ways. In order to have a better understanding of it's performance, we'll be using our i875 based Albatron motherboard as a comparison.

Test System:

Comparison System:

Reviewers Note:

The inclusion of the add-in VGA card was done for two reasons. The first is to give a more accurate comparison to the Albatron based system. Also, when first testing the EZ-Clocker's onboard VGA it left quite a bit to be desired in all of the gaming benchmarks that we will be using. While it was sufficient to run the productivity benches, it would not run anything near what we would consider to be playable frame rates in any of the games.

Benchmarking Suite:

  • SiSoft Sandra 2004

    Memory Bandwidth Benchmark
        CPU Multimedia Benchmark

  • Business Winstone 2004

  • Content Creation 2004

  • Aquamark 3

  • UT2003: Antalus, Phobos2, Inferno

Starting of with SiSoft Sandra, let's hit the test the memory.
