Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 Moving around to the side of the case we get a look at the side panel. The 3D Aurora comes standard with a mesh window here. While I like both the look of this as well as the added airflow this provides, not everyone will. So, this brings us to what else came in the case box. Gigabyte designed the Aurora to have an interchangeable window on the side. When I first pulled everything out of the box, I puzzled over this extra piece of window sized plastic, wondering what it was until I got a good look at the case itself. Now, that's what I call going the extra mile. Of course having that locking side panel prevents pesky pranksters from playing jokes on you by stealing your cables when you aren't looking. The back of the case has a pretty standard layout. We can see the two 120mm exhaust fans sitting beside the rear panel cutout. And down below this are the outlets for liquid cooling hoses. I've seen several cases that are designed with water cooling in mind, but the 3D Aurora is the first case I've had my hands on which employed the "push-through" type of outlets. What's nice about these is that they will accommodate many different sizes of water hoses. Those of you with pets or small children (or if you're just clumsy like me) will be glad to see the bottom of the case. There are four rotating case feet which will
provide extra stability for the case to keep it from getting knocked over. |
