Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 The first word that comes to mind when we remove the side panel is "clean". Granted that we don't have a system installed, but there are still no flopping cables or loose box of screws rolling around either. After peering closely I realized this was because of the cable management system that Gigabyte has designed for the 3D Aurora. They have taken the "hassle" out of cabling hassle by pre-routing all the fan cables as well as the front port cables. You can see how they tied the two rear fans together and routed that cable along the structural rails at the top of the case. This alone makes this case worth it's price. It also shows that Gigabyte pays attention to their market base. So a great big "Kudos" to Gigabyte here. Here's a quick shot of the front cables. They are all well labeled and easy to read making it easier to plug in. The tool free drive bays that Gigabyte has used for the external drives are not a new design, but they are still one of the best ones available. All you have to do is slide the drive into place and, using the latch, lock in place. And for the internal drives, they have gone with yet another proven design, using drive rails that you install on the drives which then snap into place. Now I'll bet you're saying to yourself, where did those drive rails come from for the HDD. Well, if you take a look down in the hard drive cage, you'll see a nice plastic container. Open it up and you have all the goodies you
need for this case, including a nice little shammy cloth to clean the case
with. This is a great use of space on the inside of the case. |
