Introduction

NZXT has put out a number of cases in the past few years to suit most any taste you may have.  With their newest case, the Hush, they enter the world of silent performance.  The last silent case we reviewed here was a while back and was the Lian Li PC-V1100 Case.  This was an exceptional unit but it prices out even today at a $200 price point.  NZXT has put some nice features into their Hush case in an effort to bring you silent performance with matching features for a price far far less.

Hush baby.

Like many other NZXT cases, the Hush case comes with a paint job so good you can read by its reflection.  Offered in silver and black, the Hush's black shines the most (literally) with this reflection as you can see below.  Another big shining point I want to touch on is the weight.  Being a steel case you would expect this unit to be on the heavy side.  It felt exceptionally light when picked up and tipped the scales at 5.5kg.  Making it the third lightest midtower case we have EVER reviewed.  Just for the record, we have reviewed well over 100 midtower cases, so the Hush's light weight is no small achievement.

The front bezel has an interesting design that has a diagonal cut across the lower section.  This cutaway on the bezel door allows one of the included 120mm case fans to show through the grilling and filter with a soothing blue glow from its LEDs.  Opening the door we discover the bezel keeps a moderate grip by means of magnets which keeps the lines clean and simple.
