NZXT Lexa Case

At the rear of the case is another included 120mm low noise fan. Like the fan mounted in the side panel, this is also one of those nifty LED lighty ones. Below the fan are the expansion slots. As advertised, these are a tool free design. It is a very simple and effective design the utilizes a single latch release for all the slots. The latch is located at the top and it's a simple matter to lift up and swing it out.

The internal 3.5" drive cage is turned sideways to give easy access to the hard drives. Directly in front of the cage is the 120mm included intake fan.

The external bays are of the same tool free design. Each set of drive bays uses a different rail mount to attach to the drive without screws. The drive rails are included in the accessories box along with the rest of the hardware.

It's a simple matter of attaching the rails and then sliding the drive into place in the cage until the rails snap into place.

The only downside to this rail mount system is that it may not fit all fan controllers, hard drive racks, or control panels. But the drive cages do have screw slots for you to mount your accessories in the traditional manner.

Installation

We only encountered one problem during installation. It was discovered that the rear cable management cage will need to be removed to get to one of the screws for the power supply. It's nothing major, but it's worth noting. Other than that everything went without a hitch.

In addition to the fans throwing off a very nice blue lighting, they are extremely quite.
