Shuttle Zen (ST62K) XPC - P4

Results

For productivity, we are using PC Magazine's benchmarks of Business Winstone 2002 and Content Creation 2003.  In these two benches we are going to show side by side comparisons with the AOpen XC-Cube running the same processor, memory and hard drive.  Business Winstone benchmarks a system by running numerous productivity applications and generating a score based on how quickly these run.  Content Creation is very similar but focuses more on media and graphical type productivity apps.  Let's see how we do.

Pretty much neck and neck.  Let's look at SiSoft Sandra 2004 Pro's Multimedia and Memory Benchmark so we can see how well we are getting the rubber to the road.

Sandra got me excited and almost immediately afterwards, scratching my head.  The Multimedia benchmarks were exceptionally impressive while the memory bandwidth seems to be a bit lack luster.

Let's turn our attention to some OpenGL and Direct3D gaming benchmarks.  First up is Unreal Tournament running in Direct3D.  Using the Hard|OCP's benchmarking program for low and high quality settings we get a good idea on the playability of the Zen XPC with one of today's most popular games.
