Sunbeam Quarterback Chassis First things first, look at all those fans! As you can see, included with the Quarterback right out of the box is one 120mm exhaust on the back, one on the side panel and two included 120mm fans on this center bar. All of these are rated at 1000rpm, so they should provide plenty of airflow with very little noise. Sunbeam calls these two fans on the center bar Core-Fan Technology and it seems to be an excellent idea. The fans are mounted to provide maximum airflow through the case. With the intake on the side panel and the exhaust on the rear, this should provide plenty of fresh cool air blowing over all of our components. I think the one additional intake on the front would provide even more airflow. Also noteworthy is the fact the these Core-Fans can be moved up and down to several positions on that center bar for easy customization. This core-fan bar is easily removed with three screws. After it's out, the Sunbeam Quarterback has plenty of room to work in. You can also see that it supports pretty much any of the common motherboard configurations up to standard ATX. The rear has tool-less clamps for the PCI Slots. As some of you know, I've had problems with these in the past since my video card takes up two slots. These look like they shouldn't pose a problem, but we'll see. Up toward the front of the case, all of the expansion bays also use tool-free drive clamps. These are also very easy to open and close, and feel very sturdy. They lock into position with an easy thumb latch. They shouldn't have any problem holding the drives in place. There are five 5.25" bays for optical drives, two external 3.5" bays, and three internal 3.5" bays in a removable cage. Also, directly in front of the cage is where that additional 120mm intake fan could go. Down at the bottom of the case, there are spots to secure the included plastic feet. These popped right on without a hitch. Let's move on into the installation process and see what else we can find.
