Sunbeam Tuniq 3 Case

Not exactly case feet but more along the lines of case rails.  The Tuniq 3 rests on two black rails that have small slits cut like a forward slash.  The slits are for aesthetics and hide a 12" CCFL behind them.

Around back we see a standard ATX layout with a 120mm cooling fan set up as exhaust.  A 120mm blue LED low speed fan is included with the Tuniq3.  The switch plate in the bottom most expansion slot is for the two included CCFLs.

The right side panel and the case roof sport nothing but smooth clean lines giving the Tuniq3 a streamlined look.

Here is a bottom view of the 'case rails' I mentioned a few minutes ago.  You have to look closely to see the blue CCFLs mounting in the middle of each rail.

Under the hood we find a good amount of room but the 3D Core Fan piece obstructs access to much of it.  Thank goodness that Tuniq saw fit to make the unit so easy to uninstall and reinstall.

The back wall is dominated by the 120mm exhaust fan.  So much so that it is easy to miss the tool free expansion card holders.  These units in testing worked well but I'm an old fashioned screw it in type kind of guy.  The card mounts can be folded out of the way if desired to keep us old style guys happy.

Before we can move toward the front of the case, let's remove the 3D Core Fan assembly.  one screw at the top and two screws at the bottom are all that hold the unit in place.  To access the two screws at the bottom, the left case rail needs to be removed.  With this done we have an unobstructed view of the Tuniq 3's interior.

However, with the assembly removed, let's have a closer look at it.  Two 120mm fans are included in an over and under set up.  The top most fan is on a hinge of sorts that allows the fan to be adjusted from approximately 10 to a 90 degree angle over the motherboard.  This allows you to direct air where you need it most.  The bottom fan is not adjustable.

As you look at the picture below you can see that the 3D Core Fan bracket has multiple holds along its length that allow for fans to be installed at a 0 degree, 45 degree and/or a 90 degree fixed angle.  So in addition to the included two 120mm fans, you can drop in two more at whatever orientation you choose.
