Aspire USA X-Alien Aluminum Case

Manufacturer: Aspire USA
Supplied by: Aspire USA

By Dean Barker (10/16/2003)

Introduction

In retrospect it only makes sense.  Not too long ago we reviewed the X-Super Alien Case from Aspire.  I should have guessed then that if there is a Super Alien then there must be a regular Alien around as well.  Aspire has taken their X-Super Alien case and trimmed out some of its features to bring a more economical but still feature packed case to the market.  Pretty much the only difference between the X-Super Alien and the X-Alien is the power supply, integrated rheobus and removable front grilling.  We'll look at each of these in time here.  We want to first thank the folks at Aspire USA, the makers of this series, for sending over one of their X-Alien cases to make this review possible.  As with most reviews, let's start off with the specs.
