Introduction

If you're looking for an air cooled solution for your case, there are more options out there than you could count on both hands.  There are a few things that make an air cooler stand on its own: performance, construction quality, noise level, and ease of installation.  Today, thanks to Gigabyte, I get to take a look at the G-Power Lite that looks to blend these qualities into a higher end cooling solution.  Let's move right on into the specs.

Specifications

  • Application: Intel LGA775, Intel PGA478, AMD K8 and AMD AM2

  • Observed Dimensions: 109mm x 109mm x 107mm

  • Weight: 430 gms

  • Construction: Aluminum fins with nickel plated copper base

  • Fan(s) Size: 92 x 25mm

  • Fan(s) Speed: 2000 ~ 2450rpm

  • Sound level: 23.1 ~ 27.5dBA

  • Single three pin connector

What you get

The Gigabyte G-Power Lite comes in a simple plastic package.  Thankfully, it's one that pops easily open allowing access to the goods. Included is an instruction booklet (in an assortment of languages), mounting bracket for a number of system applications and all the screws you should need.  The mounting brackets will fit Intel LGA775, Socket 478, as well as AMD K8 and AM2 systems.  The star of the show, of course, is the cooler itself.
