ThermalRight Ultra-90 LGA775 Cooler

Manufacturer: ThermalRight
Supplied by: Sidewinder Computers
Price: $35

by Jeremy Lawrence (6/02/06)

Introduction

ThermalRight is one of those names that has been in the cooling game for some time now.  They have made a name for themselves as one of the premier players in the cooling market.  ThermalRight has been coming on strong lately, and making a name already known for quality and performance that much stronger.  Thanks to Sidewinder Computers, I get to take a look at one of the newest offerings, the ThermalRight Ultra 90 heat sink.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 45mm x 100mm x 135mm

  • Supports 90mm fan

  • Application: Intel LGA775

  • 40 thin aluminum fins

  • Nickel plated copper base

What you get

The box was just a plain brown cardboard box outside.  Inside we found the heatsink, wire fan mounts, a small single-page installation instruction and a hearty portion of Thermal Paste.  Although there was not much included, it should be everything that we need.  Keeping it simple should help to cut down on costs, and keep the focus on the part that really matters.
