Corsair 1GB PC2 5400 Pro DDR2 The Unit As you can see, these are the 'Pro' models with those very cool Activity LED's on them. You just gotta love the guy who came up with the idea of those LED's. On one side of the heatspreader is Corsair's XMS2 label, denoting DDR2 instead of DDR1. Flipping it over shows the holographic sticker with the speed rating and memory timings. I still get a bit giddy when I see that "675MHz" there. It took us a while to find a motherboard that we thought could handle these babies, but we finally found the Asus P5AD2 Deluxe which should give us plenty to work with. So let's take a look at our test bed and then turn up the heat. Test Setup:
Our testing procedure is pretty simple, we
simply keep upping the Front Side Bus until the system fails to boot, then we
back off until we're at a point where the system will run completely stable
for 24 hours under load.
