Here is what I look forward to when benching anything.  Real world Open GL and Direct 3D.  Quake3 is getting a little gray but it is still the staple bench of most.  We ran the Quaver Demo, Crusher Demo, and Demo1 under the "High Quality" settings. We then went back and ran the Demo1 with the "Fastest" settings.

Quake 3 on a Pentium 4 box has always been reported as a match made in heaven.  The AX45 is our first P4 motherboard in the Penthouse Labs and I'd say that the word is spot on.

UT is a nice bench for Direct3D.  The settings were 1024x768 resolution; 32 bit color; Texture and skin details set as 'high'; and Dynamic Lighting selected.
