Albatron K8SLI Mainboard

Jumping right into the thick of it with our gaming benchmarks let's get to the results that mean the most to the majority of us.  First up is Half Life 2.  Using Anandtech's Coast Demo we ran the two boards with FSAA set to 4x and the AA set to 8x to give us some solid middle ground performance numbers.

Again, a surprise.  I am speculating that the superior memory handling of the nForce4 Ultra board is accounting for the gains that seem to increase with the workload of higher resolutions.  Dropping our Doom3 CD in let's see if this trend continues.  Our Doom 3 testing was done with The Tech Report's TRHaze demo this go around with the graphics options set to 'high.'

A slam dead even heat.  Last up is Brian's favorite, Far Cry with the UbiSoft Volcano demo set to 4x FSAA and 8x AA.

Again, another spot on even Steven set of results.  Not exactly a trend with the elevated HL2 frame rates but worthy of note.
