Albatron Mars PX915 P/G Pro Mainboard

BIOS

The Albatron PX915P Pro uses the Phoenix Award BIOS. I have come to like the Phoenix BIOS for it's simplicity of design and straightforwardness. It is very easy to navigate through and for a beginner, very intuitive.

The main screen has all your various sub menu items listed at the top.

Of course the first one we head to will be the 'Advanced' tab to check out what kind of tweaking and overclocking features we have.

Then it's off to check out the Advanced BIOS, Advanced Chipset and Frequency/Voltage Control tabs in that order. Ya' gotta love being able to adjust all this stuff.

Under the Frequency/Voltage Control tab we have our adjustments for the clock speed, CPU voltage and DDR Voltage.

There is plenty of head room here for overclocking. The CPU Voltage runs from stock of 1.3875v all the way up to 1.9v.

And finally, there's the Hardware Monitor.
