Chaintech VNF4 Ultra Zenith VE BIOS Let's take a tour around the BIOS and see what kind of options we've got under the hood. Our main menu is pretty familiar as the VNF4 Ultra uses the Phoenix Award BIOS like most motherboards these days. As is the Standard CMOS Features. The Advanced BIOS Features offers the full range of options for booting, such as the device priority, POST options etc. While under the Advanced Chipset Features, you can adjust the Hypertransport frequency and width. Moving onto the Integrated Peripherals menu it has the IDE function setup here. Which allows you to adjust you devices and set your RAID configuration. Of course our favorite menu here is going to be the Frequency/Voltage Control. This is where we get to play around and see what kind of overclocker this puppy is going to be. We've got a pretty wide range of options here
as you can see, including the CPU freqs, and DRAM settings. |
