Foxconn WinFast NF4K8AC nForce4 Mainboard

BIOS

Foxconn has selected the popular Phoenix BIOS for use with its NF4K8AC boards.  We have a few shots of the BIOS screens that should be of particular interest to you.  A picture is worth a thousand words they say.

Several adjustments are present here to give you some control your processor's speed.  One that was missing however was a multiplier adjustment control.  Processor frequency is present offering a range of 200 - 300MHz.  You will also see below that you have the option of enabling or disabling Foxconn's SuperBoot and SuperBIOS Protect features.

Memory wise, we have a full range of settings available.  Have a look.

One unfamiliar option under the BIOS is the X-BIOS II screen.  Here we find voltage tweaks for the Chipset, memory, Hypertransport Vdd Current and the CPU's voltage.  Nothing truly amazing here.  If anything, the levels are a bit low.  An example could be Corsair's DDR550 modules that love to run at 2.85 volts which is over the offered range.

Last up is a pic of the PC Health Status screen.  A smart fan control (CPU fan header auto throttle) and shutdown temperature with adjustable setting are expected and very welcome options found on most any current quality mainboard.
