Foxconn WinFast NF4SK8AA SLI Mainboard

First up in our gaming benchmarks is Half Life 2.  Using Anandtech's Coast Demo we ran the two boards with FSAA set to 4x and the AA set to 8x to give us some solid middle ground performance numbers.

Doom 3 testing was done with The Tech Report's TRHaze demo with the graphics options set to 'high.'

Last up for the gaming benches is Brian's favorite, Far Cry.  Running the UbiSoft Volcano demo with its graphics settings tweaked to 4x FSAA and 8x AA.

The SLI feature is going to be what attracts most folks to evaluate this board for a possible upgrade.  To this end, we dropped in a second GeForce 6600 GT card to get a good look at SLI.  In hopes of putting this in more perspective for you, we ran our HIS Radeon X850XT card in the mix to show you exactly what two cards versus one can do.

Not a big difference in the SLI performance between our Foxconn and comparison board but let me point out the big thing as I did in our last SLI mainboard review.  The price of TWO GeForce 6600 GTs AND the Foxconn NF4SK8AA mainboard is about equal to that of the Radeon X850XT.  Not to mention that the SLI set up mopped the floor with the Radeon's ass!
