VIA KT400 Based Mainboard Roundup

EPoX 8K9A
Street price: $80

EPoX is well known for producing some very overclockable boards at a low price.  The EPoX 8K9A is the only board of the bunch that did not have on board LAN.  On board LAN is an add on option for the 8K9A, as it is on the other testers we have.  It just doesn't happen to be on this one.  Something else that unfortunately isn't on the 8K9A is but is an add on is Serial ATA.  SATA 150 drives are beginning to catch on in a big way but not everyone wants/needs SATA 150 yet so let move on.  Specs please...

The 8K9A comes in the usual EPoX packaging that likens itself to a parcel from Macy's with the carry cord at the top of the box.  Inside you will find the 8K9A, a driver and utility disk, IDE ribbon cables, gameport bracket, and an I/O plate.
