Ratpadz XT Mouse Surface Flipping the works over we see that the Ratpadz XT has a solid flat bottom as opposed to the GS model with its structural ribbing underneath. I think this is a half dozen of one or six of the other thing myself. The GS model's feet are recessed so having them stripped off is less likely. But then again, when was the last time you lost a foot off a mouse pad? I never have. Speaking of feet, there are a total of nine feet with five of these being along the crescent for additional support since this is where all the weight will be from the user's wrist. The pad has zero flex in use and is firmer than Jeremy with the latest Victoria Secret catalog. And always a good thing; Made in the USA!
Installation/Operation It's a mouse pad, lay it down! As far as use goes, the Ratpadz XT remains as slick as ever. Actually, it seems a little slipperier to me. I have been accruing a steady body count with the Ratpadz XT in my new favorite game, Battlefield 2142. Be it with a laser, IR or a balled mouse I always came away smiling. Conclusion The Ratpadz continues to be the first choice for gamers in its excellent feel for both work and home uses. Photo editing and precision head shots both require a steady hand. The Ratpadz XT gives you the platform to accomplish either or both. This is done by an attention to the top and bottom of a performance mouse pad. Ratpadz.com has done just that. While the top feels like it just had a fresh bikini wax, the base sticks like nobody's business. Is there NASCAR tire technology in there? The Ratpadz XT is only available at Ratpadz.com presently. It is priced at $20 with another $5 shipping. Not a bad deal. One of course we can and do heartily recommend. Pros
