Thermaltake
BigWater Water Cooling Kit Accessories The Tt Flow Meter has a single mounting hole on one side with an intake and outlet connection on top. A similar blue anodized casing with clear acrylic windows on each side is visible below to keep with the theme we've seen so far. Centered in that window is a three bladed impeller that sits in the water flow. It spins freely allowing you to see at a glance that the water is moving in your system. I, like many of you, have spent more than a few minutes tapping lines looking for moving air bubbles. The rocking chair look of the Tt Flow Meter can be a bit perplexing but its being so compact allows it to be mounted most anywhere or nowhere. Nowhere, meaning it can be put inline suspended in the air by the hosing itself. The lone screw hole on one side of the unit allows it to be mated with the Refill Tank as show below which is decidedly sharp looking. Hooking everything up was painless due in large part to the connectors. We choose to mount these products on the floor of a Tt Shark Case coupling them with a Tt BigWater Kit. I have to say that these items go together quite nicely. The lighted pic below is not from fancy LEDs bur rather a 4" UV bulb mounted behind it. Conclusion Thermaltake has expanded its offerings on a scale matched by few others. Being the original makers of the Golden Orb and not too much else years ago, we can see how far they have come. The BigWater accessories live up to Thermaltake's name in both form and function. The Refill Water Tank (reservoir) allows you to more easily bleed a system while giving you the ability to monitor water levels at a glance. The Flow Meter also adds 'at a glance' functionality to your system allowing you to ensure fluid is moving without staring in search of movement within your lines. The acrylic windows and blue anodized casing for both these units very eye pleasing. This is brought out that much more by the addition of a UV cold cathode. I was quite impressed with Thermaltake including extra connections for 3/8" and 1/2" OD lines. This addition opens up the BigWater upgrades to be used with any water cooling system using 3/8" or 1/2" OD lines. While pricing information is not yet available, I don't expect these item to be too costly. As expected, Thermaltake has released some upgrades with the BigWater line that won't disappoint in quality, aesthetics or function.
