CoolMax 470 watt Aluminum LED PSU

Conclusion

For most current machines, a 400 watt power supply is a minimum.  With 450 watts and above you can be sure that your case mods and lighting won't suffer.  The weight savings from aluminum housing are barely noticeable when holding the unit.  The look of it however, mounted in an aluminum case was surprising.  The view from inside the case or through a case window made the two blend together for a very professional look.  Factor this in with the tri-color LED exhaust fan and the CoolMax unit is a nice addition for the obsessive case modder.

Cooling of the unit must have been high on the list at CoolMax with the triple fans and oversized heatsinks.  The speed control offering manual and automatic settings was a nice touch.

The CoolMax 470 watt aluminum LED power supply is something to strongly consider when it comes time to upgrade.  Thanks again to CoolMax Technology and PC-Pitstop.
