MadLights Case Lighting

This is the 9 volt plug you can use with the optional 9 volt adapter in case you want to put the lights on your desk, bed, deck, toilet, whatever.

Jumping right in

My LAN party box, an Antec LANBOY,  was handy and looked like a worthy mod victim.  The small risers that mount and allow for angling the LED banks 45 degrees that came with the kit were mounted in different corners of the case.  Pealing back the adhesive stick, sticks it right on.  The hook and loop strips also have peel back adhesive strips so you are actually mount the Velcro (oops, that's a trade name and Velcro doesn't like their name used unless the hook and loop fasteners are their specific product.)

The control buttons were each on the end of a couple of feet of wire.  This presented a small challenge to our creative nature, at making them accessible and hidden all at once.

The "tool storage compartment" that I periodically pick on that is on the LANBOY and the X-Sonic case isn't completely useless after all after I drilled a couple of holes in it.  A few pics is worth all the explanation you will need.

Pretty nifty if I do say so myself.

Firing things up once it was all mounted and under power, gave us a very notable light show.  Here are some pics of the various colors we saw.
