Thermaltake Perfect Light Series

Installation was pretty straight forward.  The Xaser III case window is held in place by plastic pop rivets.  These are snapped out then are put back in place after you lay the window dressing in place so that the pop rivets hold it in place on the inside of the case.

Each of the Perfect Lights accessories is controlled by a simple off / on throw switch that is powered off a four-pin Molex connector.  The reverse side of the switch unit has sports double sided tape which allows you to mount the switch anywhere you want that may be out of the way.

With everything connected and powered up (total install time being under 5 minutes) a throw of the switch gives you a nice little light show.  The image below is a rip of the demo from the Thermaltake website.  I did some QuickTime movies to show this off but the quality was too bad to even think about posting so... here's the rip.

Pretty nifty little mod.  Definitely an eye turner where ever you plug in at.

EL Fireball for Xaser Edition PSU

Now I've seen LED fans in power supplies and clear PSU cases but never an EL appliqué for a power supply.  The EL PSU Fireball is designed specifically for the Tt Xaser Edition power supply unit.  Mainly from the Tt power supply's unusual venting that is on the side of the PSU casing.  The EL PSU Fireball is controlled by the same type throw switch as the window unit.
