Thermaltake Polo 12 PSU/HSF/Accessory Kit The power supply is one of Thermaltake's Pure Power line that is billed as silent. While not exactly silent, it was almost so at 17dBA. The 120mm LED (blue) fan in its base can be controlled with the fan controller we just covered or automatically. A thermal probe inside the PSU to adjust the fan speed from a low of 1300 RPM (17dBA) up to a max of 2800 RPM (45dBA). Running in automatic mode we scarcely could hear the fan and I don't believe I noticed the speed ever really increased while in operation. A 120mm fan really can move some air even at low speeds. A silver Xaser badge adorns the right side of the unit while the rear wall is almost 100% venting. No hot air getting trapped in here. This is no small part of why we never heard the fan speed increase in automatic mode.
Below is a blatant rip off the Thermaltake website of the
automatic fan speed adjustment scale.
The power lines coming off the back sported two SATA power connectors along side nine four pin Molex. Notice the cable sleeving and how it is color coded. Blue is four pin Molex, green for SATA, black for standard ATX power and orange for the 12v AUX line. Aside from looking exceptionally cool, the cable sleeving keeps cable clutter down and air flow inside your case up. Three in one cooler The included three in one cooler is an OEM type cooler. While it may not be much to look at, it is versatile in that it fits all the major platforms out right now. Here are some specs. Specifications
