Introduction

During the recent CES in Las Vegas a new company, WolfKing, LLC, caused quite a stir with two new outstanding products, created for gamers by gamers. Today, we have the privilege to be among the first hardware sites, to be able to show you the WolfKing Warrior and the WolfKing TimberWolf.

While resellers are expected to have stocks by the end of this month or early next month at the latest, we have completely working pre-production models with only the manuals and the two USB ports on the TimberWolf missing. So, without further delay, let’s take a look.

WolfKing Warrior

By far, one of the biggest hits at CES was the WolfKing Warrior with its wild patented ergonomic design for first person shooters. Every key a gamer could want is located with maximum control right at their fingertips. One neat feature that I like is the vertical space key right where your left thumb would fall.

The design is so unique that when I queered about it, I was told that it was designed with the thought of “The Circle of Death” or the personal fighting space common to many martial art fighting disciplines, and thus the Warrior is arranged so now the computer gamer can maximize his/her gaming skills, just as the ancients maximized their fighting space.

The WolfKing Warrior has been ideally designed for portability, so you can expect to see them showing at a LAN near you. So much so, that the Warrior impressed the likes of ATI and NVidia, and I understand you’ll see branded Warriors at an upcoming LAN in Oregon, at least that’s the rumor!!

Okay let’s move on to other features such as: high impact keyboard construction with a life span in excess of 10,000,000 keystrokes, USB interface, plug and play, audio control, Win 98/ME/Win 2000/Win XP compatible and holds both CE and FCC approval.

On a personal note, I consider myself a mediocre game play at best and I’ve been taking a beating from a couple of my grandsons, but after a day of practice, I stunned them by not getting beat half as bad, I wonder what I’ll do with a weeks practice, hahahahahaha!!

WolfKing TimberWolf

The second product that turned allot of heads was the WolfKing TimberWolf full featured keyboard that incorporates in the same space as a standard keyboard “The Circle of Death” giving you all the features found in the Warrior, plus regular old keys when you have to work.

The TimberWolf has all the same features as the Warrior, but includes the added feature of two additional USB ports for your connivance as well as eight internet hot keys.

As I tend to be more of a stationary computer user, I really liked the fact that the TimberWolf offered me the best of both worlds; a quality USB keyboard for regular work and a “KickAss” weapon for gaming!!

Conclusion

Well what can you say? The WolfKing Warrior and WolfKing TimberWolf are both; innovative products that will enhance even novice gamers’ abilities while being totally affordable.

The more I play with these products the more features I find; the last one was the K-lock key. One of the games I play with my grandson allows us to talk during the game, well with the K-lock button all I have to do is press it and drive my grandson nuts talking, while playing the game! Ah, there is justice in the world, the gaming world that is.

So, keep an eye on your favorite reseller as the Warrior and TimberWolf will be available by the first week in March.
